Allied Roofing & Sheet Metal is a third-generation, family-owned and operated commercial and industrial roofing contractor founded by Carmine “Babe” Napolitano II in 1975. After Babe’s retirement his son, Carmine Napolitano III took over of the business and continued Babe’s legacy. Although the company has undergone major changes, our commitment to excellence remains. Our crews are professionally trained and certified to install all major brands of commercial and industrial roofing systems. We assist building owners with system manufacturer selection, product type, and method of attachment. Our other roofing services include: repairs; removal and replacement; recovery, retrofit, and restoration; 24-hour emergency service; disaster response; emergency roof snow removal; roof maintenance programs; inspection and evaluation reports; and authorized warranty repairs.

Through the use of state-of-the-art technology, we are better able to serve our customers. We recently upgraded our accounting software and streamlined our internal processes to add value to the customer relationship. The FCS-Connect Software application, which runs on iPads, allows us to build entire platforms with multiple facilities, giving our customers access to our database. Customers can see the project status and history firsthand.

This past year, we became a Small Business Enterprise with the Department of Administrative Services (DAS/CT) and a General Services Administration (GSA) approved contractor. In order to be approved we had to pass an extensive background verification which included a third-party customer survey conducted by D&B with a 94 percent success rating.

Allied Roofing is a proud partner of Roofing Contractors Committed to Safety Insurance Company (RCCS). Our commitment to safety involves best practices along with continued education and re-certifications. We conduct weekly surprise safety inspections at all our job sites, always looking at ways to enhance our safety program. Our employees well being is always first and foremost the most important part of our day-to-day operations.

Our remarkable team remains dedicated to Allied’s success. Carmine’s wife, Catherine, has served as the owner and chairwoman of the board since Carmine lost his battle with cancer in January 2009. She is involved in day-to-day activities, ensuring the team provides our customers the best of quality service and receive the support they deserve. Our president, Jerry Tackett, carefully manages the entire team while steering the company as he addresses changes in both the industry and the economy, while maintaining our excellent relationships with our customers, roofing system manufacturers and vendors.

Carmine’s brothers, Rick and Mike, run all field operations while our sales / estimators, Patrick Myette and Jamie Gallagher, with a combined 41 years of experience with Allied, offer guidance and proposals to our customers. The youngest generation of Napolitano’s continues to thrive. Carmine’s son, Adam, manages the service department and his cousins, Emily Napolitano handles our A/P & A/R and payroll, and Richard Napolitano works with the roofing crews.

Thanks to the company’s leadership and support, Allied has experienced zero turnover for the past several years. Family, community and service are of utmost importance — that’s why Allied is involved with the following organizations: Roofing Contractors Committed to Safety, National Roofing Contractor Association, New England Roofing Contractors Association, Connecticut Roofing Contractors Association, Connecticut Building and Industry Association, American Building and Contractors Association, Connecticut Subcontractors Association, Association of Facilities Engineering, and the Metro Hartford Alliance.

Allied Roofing was recently nominated for this years Business Champion Award and we welcome everyone to visit us following the breakfast awards at the Connecticut Business Expo. We will be located at Booth 221 and will be demonstrating our latest technology with FCS-Connect.
